“Products designed with both home and hound in mind” isn't a tagline around here — it's a household arrangement.

Every bottle or treat that leaves Pack and Potion has been sniffed, sat on, or seriously deliberated over by the six dogs who technically run the place. We're a family operation in the most literal sense: one part apothecary, one part very opinionated pack.

Ingredients Small batch, natural, mixed by hand in Hamilton.
Ordering Straight through the online shop, with local drop-off or NZ-wide shipping.
Quality control Six dogs, six very firm opinions.

Honeycomb Hound

Our signature grooming range, named for the pup who inspired it. Tigris — our youngest and most camera-ready pack member — is the original Honeycomb Hound, and now lends her name to a full coat-care line.

The Real Owners

Meet the Pack

Six dogs, six departments. Nothing ships without at least one of them weighing in.

Dinozzo 16 years old Resident Mystic Mutt

The elder statesman. Best known for being caught sleeping on the job — repeatedly, and without apology.

Lylah 10 years old Potions Master

Runs quality control on every batch, and is not afraid to make her voice heard when it doesn't pass.

III

Peppa 3 years old Keeper of the Sacred Cauldron

Special interests: naps, snacks, Halloween, and a firmly held opinion on chips and dip.

Piper 12 years old Seriously Super Seer

Sees all, knows all, and will absolutely make sure her opinion gets heard before any decision is final.

Tigris 1 year old The Original Honeycomb Hound

Namesake of the flagship range. Laughter guaranteed, and he fully intends to remain the centre of attention.

Koa 3 years old Brewing the Good Vibes

Laid back and go-with-the-flow, fun and social, but sensitive and thoughtful when it counts.

Find Us

Currently out and about the Waikato.

More often than not, you'll catch the pack before you catch the potions — we set up our travelling apothecary at market days around Hamilton, with a table of remedies, a basket of samples, and at least one hound underfoot. No storefront to wander into just yet, but the cabinet is open online any hour of the day or night — order below, or come find us (and the dogs) at a market stall.
